After a cracker few matches in the 06 futsal league, we climb to the first position. Hard work always pays off !. With the way cleared of strong opponents and only awaiting to face Giffnock 06 in the last match of the league as one of the candidates to challenge us the title, we were in the position to dream with to be champions. However, when we thought that the boys deserved such achievement, we have received the news that the league has been cancelled.... without a winner. Yes, without a winner...
Although some teams were cancelling their matches because they no longer had the chance to be champions, claiming "lack of players". The league should have continued with the 4 or 6 teams that wanted to finish the league.
At least, we have completed all our matches undefeated and with a great display of futsal show.
To all the boys that have been involved; well done. to the others that were waiting a chance to play; more matches will come to prove yourself.
We wish all the best to future events to the organisers Escola Futsal. Hopefully, with a better outcome.
