GREAT START AFTER EASTER HOLIDAYS ...

FUTSAL ELITE 06 VS CALEDONIA FUTSAL 06

Another night of futsal after our break at Easter holidays. Left to right:

Tyreece, Leo (C) Sosa, Ryan (GK), Adam, Ale (07) and Efosa (08)

With some important players away due bank holidays, we've gave the opportunity to play an 07 and an 08 with the 06. Vibrating match since the beginning, the boys controlled the match the whole time. Caledonia, shown great skills and the right attitude. In spite of we were ahead all the match at the end was quite tight with a final score of 10-8 for us and with a Caledonia hyper-motivated. Tyreece was outstanding the first half with a first touch play and more conservative in the second half holding the back for the team when Sosa was leading the attack. Leo, one again lead the team with his attitude and was very incisive with his actions putting the team ahead in the score. He scored the first fast goal in the first 10 seconds of the game. Sosa, play all the whole game as a Cierre (full back) and he dominated that position without lose any challenge. Powerful in attack, gave us the boost that the team needed at times to break the game. Ryan, gave us the safety required on goals to keep the right shape of the team. Moreover, his vision to play quick and his foot skills are always helpfull to the team. Adam, What a debut !!!... 5 second in the field and scored a goal in an amazing tiki-taka play. Adam returned to us after a gap in his participation in futsal, but felt very confidence and he settle in the team very quick. Ale, always deep in attack as an left Ala (left wing). he brought maturity to the game with his decisions making. Play like that playing one year above against a good team, is a great success. Efosa, being an 08 didn't played the same time than the others, however, all the time he was in the field, played very well and nobody noticed that he was the youngest player in the game. Even he scored a goal !!!

MOM: Tyreece, for his first touch play and his attitude when covering the gaps left by his teammates during the attacking time.

Improvement: We have to improve our management of the match. Being 6-2 ahead in the game, the team left many gaps in our backs that attacking without stop, generated several counterattacks for our opponent that shortened our initial advantage.
