After a huge effort against Caledonia Futsal in the league match, the boys travelled to Edimburgh to face two tournaments, 07 and 06.
Without time to take a lunch, the boys took some energy inside the cars on our way to Edimburgh.
Blacks couldn't have a better start; in the morning the team beat Caledonia (winners of the Dundee Tournament last week) 6-5 before travel to Edinburgh and win two matches in a row, 5-0 and 6-0 ... very complacent, the Blacks were winning the third match 3-0, therefore, time for give more minutes to other players. Finished 3-2 to us, was unbelievable that one of the referees take a goal from us once the match was ended. This disruption, put the players and coaches in a bad mod, thinking more in complaint than in the games... This situation cost us another draw 4-4 ... end of the possibilities to win the tournament after 2 draw. However, we have to be proud of our performances shown on Sunday after a long day. Sometimes, the line between success and fail is very thin. Blacks with the majority of players playing one year above, shown that they were the best team so far at the tournament, however, futsal is a game where the winner is who made less mistakes and take advantage from the opponent mistakes.
Once again, we are very proud of all the boys that represented the academy during the weekend. Hopefully, for all the boys that couldn't make it due injuries of another commitments, more chances will arise.
