Many thanks to Blackstoun United 06 that came on Wednesday to have an introduction futsal match. We hope they enjoyed as we did... The game was very tight at the end with good footie from both sides. Well done to all involved !!!

Futsal Elite Wednesdays (RED) vs Blackstoun United
We were ahead in the first half but our lack of speed in our decisions due our complacency in the second half and the good footie from Blackstoun U. in their good second half, gave courage to the opponent to go for a victory. Blackstoun, played very well all the time, trying to do the right things and at the end payed off ! With an end of the first half with 10-4 for us, the game ended with an amazing exciting 17-16 ... WOW.
SQUAD:
*Kyle (08): After several weeks off, he back to the Wednesdays sessions and sacrificed himself playing all the whole first part as a golie. Great feet and amazing decision making, gave to the team the tempo required. *Jackson (08): Well done to Jackson who played very well, showing great first pass and doing the right things all the time. Playing outside his natural position he done it very well. We can use Jackson as an example of dedication and hard work, that is reflected in his huge improvement during his time at futsal. *Aaron (08): A good defender that played as a wing at times. Our Wednesdays "pitbull" he dominated his area in defence wise. Cheasing without stop, gave hard time to the attackers... Well done Aaron ! *William (08): Done it well as a wing attacking very deep and linked with the other boys very well. *Evan (09): Our Youngest player in the field, done a good match playing around all the positions. He scored a good goal and created several chances. *Sony (07): Sony done well and surprisingly better as a pivot (striker) than as a cierre (full back) like he normally likes to play. He scored several goals and holding the ball very well. *Ronan (07): Ronan with his sharp style of play scored several goals in the the key moments that were very important to keep us ahead in the score. *Ale (07): Ale was decisive with his actions and with his boost and skills put the balance in our side when the match turned tight.
**MOM: Ale, who changed the speed of the game.
Points to improve: We have to focused into finish the job started. We have to avoid wait the challenge before pass the ball, even if we are ahead in the score. Has to be just one speed in the game, the first touch pass and move.
